Hostile Environment Media Training
Aim: A jam packed course to prepare the media for security and medical challenges for working in some of the most dangerous places on earth.
Teaching Method: Classroom work and outdoor practical training.
Realistic situation awareness exercises enforce learning. “Pilgrims have been working with and protecting the media in some of the most hostile environments for the last 10 years, from war zones to natural disasters”.

Media Travel Security Course
Aim: To prepare the media, who travel and work in some of the most hostile and dangerous places on the planet, to cover breaking news stories.
Teaching Method: Classroom work and outdoor practical training. Realistic situation awareness exercises enforce learning.

Media Med
Aim: Operating in remote locations as well as warzones on a global scale, means that the media have to have a high level of emergency medical training.>
Teaching Method: Indoor theory, hands on practical and realistic emergency scenarios test all the skills you learn.

The Gap Year Travel Course
Aim: To prepare the individual for all aspects of organising and surviving a gap year adventure. From travel preparations and kit selection to theft proofing yourself and remaining alert and safe while on the adventure of a life time.
Teaching Method: The course is an interactive mix of visual lessons, hands on practical and role playing scenarios that mimic the real life traveller's situations.

Travel Med
Aim: While away from the safety of home you will be faced with different challenges and very different medical standards. Travel Med runs you through the variety of health risks and medical emergencies that may face you abroad.

Adventure Safety
Aim: Travelling abroad can see yourself confronted with new and challenging situations. Knowing some hard learnt advice and having some street wise skills can mean that you avoid getting into trouble before it develops.
Teaching Method: Classroom work and practical training. Workshop situations enforce learning.
