The Big Africa Cycle
September 10th 2009
Peter Gostelow is a veteran in the world of overland travel. On August 1st 2005 he set off on an epic 3 year ride from Japan back to is home in the UK. Only one year later he is embarking on an equally epic bicycle adventure from England to Cape Town, South Africa. Taking the route through France and Spain he will then take the Western path through Africa, visiting over 20 countries on his way.
During Peters bike ride he will be raising money for The Against Malaria Foundation. Malaria kills more people in Africa than any other disease. The money that Peter raises will be used to buy Mosquito nets which he will distribute along the way.
His website has masses of information about his journey and will be updated over the coming months as he peddles deeper into the unknown.
