Panama > Costa Rica > El Salvador > Guatemala > Belize >

Costa Rica is a beautiful country, pristine beaches, deadly jungle and world-renowned conservation projects.

We made our way from the hustle and bustle of the capital, San Jose, to Tortuguero National Park, a rainforest reserve located on the country’s east coast.

We hopped on a river taxi and made our way deep into the rainforest and this is where our next real journey began.

We swapped our trusty river taxi for a canoe which we used to penetrate deeper into the jungle, where the diversity of Costa Rica can really be appreciated.

It was soon time to change our mode of transport once again and we abandoned our canoes to trek part of this magnificent rainforest. We came across an array of wildlife including this vibrant and, I believe, poisonous frog.
