Bahrain from space A birdseye view of Bahrain show's off it's ambitious island project.

Ever wondered what astronauts actually do? After an explosive shuttle launch and courageous dash through the stratosphere, what do they actually get up to when they get onto the International Space Station? Well, the answer will be familiar even to those stuck in a 9-5 rut. They fritter away their day on social networking sites, or more exactly, Twitter.

Well that’s the impression we get from our newest space superstar, Soishi Noguchi, who has been so inspired from the view of our planet from the station, he’s broken out the camera and started tweeting. From the architectural ambition of Bahrain to a suspiciously polluted looking Jakarta, his photos give a whole new angle on some of the world’s greatest sights and we’ll be following him through our own tweets.
