Australian fights a shark

Australian Patricia Trumball took on a shark as she fought for her life, snorkelling off the Queensland coast.

The 60 year old was attacked by the 2 metre long monster just 200 metres from the shore, suffering severe bites on her legs and buttocks.

“All I could concentrate on was surviving,” said the brave snorkeller. “I thought ‘this shark isn’t going to get the better of me,’ and I started punching it on the nose.”

The shark then began to drag Patricia under the water but she kicked at it’s neck until it released it’s grip and she was pulled onto the snorkelling boat.

“I have to have a new remodelled bottom, so that’s a positive,” she told local news after her ordeal. Every cloud we suppose…
