Off The Black

It's fine reading all about how it's done, but sometimes you just can't beat some time
behind the bars. We've handpicked the off-road riding schools from around the UK we
think are perfect for teaching the intricacies of adventure riding, to try and prepare you
for leaving the tarmac.

Off Road Skills

The highly-successful Off Road Skills courses have been running for eight years,
headed up by six-times Dakar Rally competitor Simon Pavey, who accompanied Charley
Boorman in Race to Dakar. As well as basic training in off road skills, they offer courses
for more proficient riders, to hone their ability on more challenging routes. And for anyone
looking for something different, they offer Off Road Skills Tours – winding their way through
the Pyrennes, they’re a great way to get hands on experience in the hands of the experts,
and enjoy some Spanish sun at the same time.

For more information, check out the Off road Skills website.

you in a similar way. Or maybe you’ve done the road-riding thing to death, and are looking for
something new and exciting to try? Or maybe you are looking for an all-year-round activity that
can get you out on 2 wheels no matter what the weatherman says is going to happen?
Operating in the southeast of England, Track Sense will teach you all the skills you need
to ride off road, as well as equipping your bike for off road use.
